Okay, so there’s several tons of reasons why you should make sex right now. But here’s ultimate one you might not have thought of i.e. having frequent sex might boost your memory. Researchers from the Coventry University in the U.K. suggest.
In the study, researchers generally asked 73 older adults how often they had sex. And then had them to perform tasks that tested their brain functions. Things including like memory, fluency, attention, language, and visuospatial abilities.
They discovered that people who usually had sex at least weekly scored higher on tests of cognitive function. And, also more specifically, on tests that measured verbal fluency and also visuospatial ability—than those who had sex less frequently. For example, they were then able to name more animals and more words that started with the letter “F,” in just 60 seconds. And were better able to copy a complex drawing from memory. How This Happens
One of the possible reason? The more sex you have, the more and more dopamine your brain produces, the researchers believe. That’s very important, since the neurotransmitter has been linked mainly to a bunch of important brain functions, just like better working memory and executive function.
It’s also much possible that more sex means more social, physical, and mental engagement, which bascially has also been shown to protect neurons in your brain as you age.
Men and women who have an active sex life look between usually five and seven years younger than their actual age.
In the bedroom, each and every muscle matters. All those your skeletal muscles are essential for the movement, no matter how vigorous; all your autonomous (involuntary) smooth muscles play a very ceaseless role in digestion, respiration, circulation and several bodily function; and of course your cardiac muscles are much integral for pumping blood into all the right places.
Since the study was done on adults, it’s exactly clear how having sex affects your brain now. It suggests that staying active underneath the sheets can greatly give you a mental boost as you grow older. (For hot tips on how to make it better for her, check out Ways To Make Sex Even More Sexier.)
